When “El Gordo” returned from the cut, he couldn’t take it anymore and he exploded against the production, claiming that what they did to him was a terrible lack of respect. “Bravo Raúl,” says Arrarás in support of his friend and colleague.
The video has been shared on the official Las Top News Instagram account, Mandy Fridmann, its CEO and Managing editor, shared the material in which you can hear everything that Raúl de Molina said while on air:
“They take me off the air while I’m talking… I find it sad that this show that was created for me and Lili 25 years ago and that is about what we talk about… that a producer who started here three or four years ago, who has not the slightest idea of what El Gordo y la Flaca is and that a person who has been in the business for 30 years is cut off while talking about something and they go to commercials because they want to include 20 stories… so that one cannot speak!
“And then they complain about how the programs are doing. “I really don’t understand the lack of respect… If I were a producer, it would never occur to me in my life…” the renowned Univision host added indignantly. After these words, Lili Estefan interrupted him, wanting to make him see that maybe it was all a joke. He refused to accept this comment, claiming that he was upset because this is not the first time he has been asked and he is already tired of this situation.
Raúl de Molina concluded his public vent with these words: “I don’t think it’s a joke, if I were the one in charge of the show I would throw it out right now.”
It is worth saying that for months there has been a rumor that the program will be cancelled. Some, seeing what has happened today, assume that these could be signs of the end. However, it is still unknown if everything that is said about the closing of the cycle or its cancellation is something real or invented, but after this painful situation the rumor grows and spreads, especially taking into account Clarissa’s reaction Molina to a recent question about said topic on the magenta carpet of Premio Lo Nuestro.
