Film director Quentin Tarantino It is known as one of the most prominent of recent decades. Throughout his extensive career, and with a long list of hits under his belt, he has worked alongside a wide range of actors, including iconic figures such as John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Uma Thurman and Robert De Niro, among many others.

But in an interview, the creator of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” (2029) named one of these as “the best actor in the world”highlighting the magnitude of his admiration for this performer.

The one chosen by Quentin was nothing more and nothing less than Robert DeNirowho had an important role in “Jackie Brown,” Tarantino’s film that was released in 1997, which focused on a flight attendant named Jackie, accused of drug trafficking and money laundering.

To avoid prison, the woman collaborates with the police in order to catch her supplier. In addition to De Niro, this film featured an all-star cast that included Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Forster, Bridget Fonda, Michael Keaton, Michael Bowen and Chris Tucker. The film’s script was based on the novel Rum Punch, by Elmore Leonard.

Everything was revealed during an interview dating back a few years, with Charlie Rose, in which Quentin Tarantino promoted the release of the aforementioned film, and referred to the actor as one of the best he had seen.

“He deserves his reputation as probably the best actor of his generation. I think he is the best actor in the world. I have never seen an actor become so completely consumed with character, with real character work during the play. And what I mean by that is that when Robert is playing Louis… he is Louis, he is working moment by moment,” he explained at the time, making clear his approval of the interpreter.
