In a post on his X account (formerly Twitter), García gave his word that these remaining five weeks prior to their confrontation with Haney will be of total concentration and he assured that he will discuss the other issues later.

“I, Ryan Garcia, I will not talk, tweet or write anything other than my ‘boxing’ and sports fight. All topics of discussion will be discussed after my fight. 5 weeks of concentration. You have my word that I’m locked up. See you on 4-20″, she wrote.

Since the press conference in New York, the Californian’s behavior has been erratic. That same day, Devin Haney indicated that his rival was drunk and that he could smell his breath in the face-to-face. In fact, many followers and even the Haneys think that King Ry will abandon the fight after all the controversies he has generated due to his drug use and behavior in press conferences, interviews and social networks with just a little more than a month left until the most important confrontation of his career, which could crown him world champion for the first time.
