Authorities say a Memphis, Tennessee, woman was arrested after allegedly publish photographs of his 5-year-old daughter performing waxing on a naked woman.
On Monday, the Memphis Police Department arrested Jasmine Moss, 30, and charged her with child neglect and child abuse after “numerous complaints” about the photos on her professional Instagram page.
The images showed a young woman working with women naked from the waist downincluding a leaning back with her legs spread, while the girl appeared to work in her private area, according to TMZ.
The department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was alerted on Feb. 15 about photos that went viral on social media, according to a statement released by the Memphis Police Department on Facebook.
In the affidavit acquired by Fox News Digital, police say Moss identified the young woman as his daughter in an Instagram post, bragging that the girl waxed 24 clients in a period of more than eight hours.
Moss’s Instagram account has since been deleted.
The Memphis Police Department said in the statement that it was conducting a joint investigation with the Department of Children’s Services.
The department also urged the public not to save or forward any of the images of the toddler waxing adults to the police or anyone else, and not to download or upload the images in any way.
Additional complaints about the incident, police said, should be directed to the Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Moss is being held in jail without bail and was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
