What was the success of “Los Supercampeones”?

“Captain Tsubasa” tells the story of the young soccer prodigy Oliver Atom (Ozora Tsubasa), who dreams of reaching Brazilian soccer and representing the Japanese team. In the process he is accompanied by his rivals and friends Benji Price, Tom Misaki and Steve Hyuga, among others.
