Boxing legend Mike Tyson said he is “scared to death” after His exhibition fight with Jake Paul will be announceda YouTuber turned boxer, and the reason for feeling this way has nothing to do with the age difference between the two.

In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Tyson indicated that he has a strange personality that makes him face all the challenges that scare him perform, but as the fight approaches this nervousness decreases.

“Anything I’m afraid of, I face it. That’s my personality. Right now I’m scared to death. As the fight gets closer, the less nervous I get, because (it becomes) reality. And I am actually invincible,” he added.

It should be noted that the confrontation between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has been harshly criticized due to the age difference between both fighters, since The YouTuber turned boxer is 30 years younger than the former heavyweight champion.

The exhibition fight between the two will take place on July 20 at Cowboys Stadium (venue that has a capacity of 80,000 people) from Dallas, Texas, and will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix, who will make its debut in boxing broadcasts.

Mike Tyson has not entered the ring since he faced Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020, a fight that ended in a draw. Instead, Jake Paul comes from beating Ryan Bourland by knockout last March at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

For his part, Jake Paul, 27, has two positive results after suffering his first loss to Tommy Fury by split decision, brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The YouTuber also has a record of 9 wins (six fast-track) and one setback.
