The princes of Wales, Kate Middleton and williamcelebrate their 13th wedding anniversary this April 29, a day they commemorated with their supporters on social networks by sharing an image unpublished of the day of their union.
The couple attracted attention after posting a photograph that shows the happy couple in their respective wedding attires.
The released photo shows members of the British royals posing with a relaxed smile, from Buckingham Palace after the wedding ceremony. Kate wears her wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, while William wears her traditional ball gown and hugs her waist.
The image was captured by photographer Millie Pilkington, who was hired to capture the moments most memorable of the royal union.
In the description, The Prince and Princess of Wales account added: “13 years ago today.”
The photographer also shared the image on her Instagram account, where she congratulated Kate and Guillermo with an emotional message.
“Happy wedding anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been 13 years. I remember this moment very well. Sending you both lots of love on this special day.“Pilkington wrote.
The post by the Princes of Wales comes in the midst of Kate Middleton’s battle against cancer, after announcing her diagnosis a few weeks ago.
