“I just finished a moving video conference with Tyson Fury, who has confirmed his official retirement from boxing. We fully support his decision. It is a dream for anyone to retire undefeated as the WBC world champion. A special farewell event will be prepared, ”he declared at that time.
Just 72 hours before, Tyson Fury had announced through his social networks that he would face Dereck Chisora again in what would be a reunion of two titans of this sport.

Fury launched an open challenge on the social network Twitter to Anthony Joshua, who has just lost against Oleksandr Usyk.
“Anthony Joshua, I know you just lost a fight with Usyk, so I would like to give you the opportunity to fight me for the WBC heavyweight world championship in the next couple of months.

Frank Warren, promoter of the British boxer, announced that he had sent a formal proposal for the lawsuit against Joshua:
“My son George spoke to Eddie Hearn yesterday. We are the ones who have reached out to give AJ a great opportunity to come back to the highest level against world champion Tyson (Fury),” Warren said in an interview for talkSPORT.
In the absence of the economic amounts for this great event being made official, Fury appeared again on social networks to report that the bag would be 60-40.
