However, in an interview she confessed an aspect of her work that made her seem obsess to a good part of his followers.
In a conversation for the ‘Jake’s Takes’ channel, journalist Jake Hamilton asked the ‘Dune’ star: “I feel like there’s always too much attention on your kissing scenes.”, and she replied: “I know, it’s very strange.”
Faced with that, the interviewer stressed: “Do you think that, as a society, people forgot that kissing scenes are literally part of your job or do you think that with that excuse the public wants to hear you talk about your kisses?”
In response to that question, Zendaya assured: “The truth is that I have no idea. I don’t know if it’s because they want, I don’t know, to make something viral. But it’s true that I noticed this happening specifically with me. I feel like it doesn’t happen with other actors.if someone else were here you probably wouldn’t ask them this question. But it is part of my job and it is something completely normal despite, it seems to me, the perception that perhaps other people have about our work. But no way, it’s something strange.”
Finally, the actress concluded: “So thank you for referring to this, because I think the same as you. “It’s something crazy, very crazy!”
Zendaya wants to escape her eternal role as a schoolgirl
Within the framework of the interview tour she is giving due to the premiere of the film “Challengers”, Zendaya referred to how much she is interested in escaping the eternal role of a schoolgirl, and in this regard she commented:
“I’m always in a high school somewhere. And, keep in mind, I never went to high school, (she told Vogue, alluding to the fact that she did not have the experience of going to school, but rather studied with tutors and took free exams, while working as an actress). She was refreshing. And she also scared me a little, because I thought that I hope to convince people that I can play someone my age, or maybe a little older.because I have friends who already have children.”
In her new film, the performer not only plays a person close to 30, who is married, a professional and a mother, but also the same character when she was younger.
The role was a great challenge because of all this, in addition to the physical work involved in playing a professional tennis player, for which she resorted to her training as a dancer, copying the movements of the professionals who helped her prepare for the film.
