Alexis Vega is having a notable resurgence in Mexican soccer. After being lost to injuries and extra-sports problems with Chivas de Guadalajara, “Gru” is finding its level again with Toluca. Vega thinks he can be there again on El Tri’s radar.

“Returning to the national team is something I have in mind. It hurts me not to be taken into account in the last calls, especially after having played in a World Cup. But I know that if I continue like this, the opportunity to put on the green will soon come”, he stated.
The Red Devils of Toluca are the leaders of Clausura 2024. Alexis Vega has played 10 games (717 minutes), in this new stage with the club. During that number of meetings The 26-year-old forward has been able to score 5 goals and provide 1 assist.
