Today we had the opportunity to review one of Sonyâs emblematic titles with the adventure of our beloved companion Sackboy, a much-loved and beloved character we know from the LittleBigPlanet saga that was available for older generation consoles.
The game is similar to the old installment, in this adventure we seek to develop a story for our little friend Sackboy.
gameplay and mechanical
Sackboyâs gameplay would be of a platformer nature, taking as an example it reminds them a lot of Crash Bandicoot or Super Mario 3D Land, the game has all kinds of puzzles, enemies, challenges and collectibles.
The game is progressive and the level work is very well done since they pose different types of objectives throughout our adventure, the difficulty will increase as we progress but it will never be frustrating, if you want to complete the game 100% with all the collectibles and secrets may take more than a single run.
Regarding the differences with the old installments of LittleBigPlanet, the movement mechanics are the same but with some additions that make our little protagonist feel like a renewed cover.
fun co-op
The game also has a local cooperative of up to 4 players, which is incredible in case you want to play it with friends, this title may make you laugh a lot and it is also remarkable since this can reward the effort of all the players equally if it is that you want to get into this.
There is also a detail since some levels are focused on teamwork, as well as puzzles. Online co-op is necessary if you want to finish the game completely, we donât have this feature yet but Iâm really looking forward to it.
The only debatable thing at this point is the plot of the game, it is not one that will remain etched in your mind because the hours that you can invest in it are not many, most of the platform titles that came before left that mark by internalizing a lot with the characters, but with this it is not so much the case, even so it will not prevent you from having hours of fun and enjoyment with this title.

Visually Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a real gem, the art direction is remarkable without a doubt and the game looks incredibly good, as well as having a fairly fluid experience.
Likewise, the feeling that I get when playing it with the DualSense is quite fun and immersive if you are looking for something out of the ordinary with this title.

conclusion
In conclusion Sackboy: A Big AdventureIt is a fun title, well optimized, fluid but a bit lacking and flat in terms of narrative, if you are looking to play it with friends, believe me you will have a great time, it really makes the previous LittleBigPlanet titles famous and it is a game that should not be missing on your PlayStation console or if you want to try something new on PC.
