In an interview for “Ventaneando”, the young singer revealed that her father, Pepe Aguilar, got her a new horse for the concerts that will begin in May in the United States and pointed out that what scares her most is suffering an accident in it.
“Let’s see, I know all my horses perfectly, but now I have a new one that I haven’t gotten on. It is a much larger and stronger animal, so I am afraid that it is going to throw me or fall because I don’t know how to ride it.“said Angela.
Regarding the new stage of the show, which will be titled “Jaripeo Hasta Los Huesos”, the “La Llorona” interpreter commented that the show will be totally focused on the celebration of the Day of the Dead, a Mexican tradition that she enjoys very much.
Pepe is proud that his children surpass him
Although he has more than two decades of artistic career, Pepe Aguilar recognizes that his fame can no longer be compared to what his daughter has gained in recent years; However, he claims not to feel jealous about it.
In an interview with Joaquín López Dóriga’s radio program, the singer pointed out that the young singer has achieved national and international recognition thanks to the great commitment she puts into each of the projects she carries out.
“Now they identify me as Ángela Aguilar’s father and that’s fine. There is no better compliment to a father than for his children to surpass him and I have no doubt that Angela has what it takes, because she has already achieved it. She has something to make history with in her career and in her personal life,” Pepe said.
Likewise, the performer of “Por Mujeres Como Tú” spoke about Ángela’s recent foray into bolero and congratulated her for daring to travel to Cuba, the root of this musical genre, to be able to fully delve into it.
