The actress Emily Blunt He offered an interview with journalist Howard Stern, where he not only talked about the challenges he faces when he has to kiss a partner in the scenes of his films, but also confessed that on one occasion he found the kiss disgusting. “I didn’t enjoy it at all”revealed.
During her time on ‘The Howard Stern Show’, the blonde opened up about how she approaches romantic scenes depending on her partner.
“I have had chemistry with people I don’t like,” the Hollywood star surprised. When the presenter wanted to know who she was referring to, the actress’ response was blunt. “I’m not going to tell you,” she said and continued with her explanation: “I’ve had chemistry with people I didn’t have a good time working with.” And immediately, she gave the opposite example: “Sometimes it’s a strange thing. Sometimes you can have an easy relationship, but that doesn’t translate on screen.” “Chemistry is a strange thing. It’s something ethereal that can’t really be repressed, bought or sold. It’s there or it’s not”, he analyzed.
After explaining that it is easier for him to fake a romance with someone with whom he has a “natural relationship,” Blunt listed some of the techniques he uses to better handle love scenes with the actors he works with.
“I have to find something I like about each of them. They may laugh pleasantly or be kind and polite to people. I mean, it’s something totally random,” she continued and assured that when she finds that “gift,” she relies on it.
Although Blunt continued with his position of not giving names, he did confess that on one occasion he felt very bad after performing a romantic scene.
“Did you want to vomit after kissing someone in a scene?” Stern asked her, after the artist’s confession. “Absolutely. Absolutely”she reacted, without hesitation. “I wouldn’t say it gave me any kind of extreme hate, but I definitely didn’t enjoy it,” she added.
