The American musician Jon Bon Jovi He confessed that during his group’s glory days in the 1980s, he enjoyed the rock star lifestyle to the fullest.
Bon Jovi, 62, recalled a time of excess and temptation, to the point of becoming a “sex symbol,” after the release of his first album in 1984.
“I got away with it. I’m a rock and roll star, I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying there wasn’t 100 girls in my life: I am Jon Bon Jovi. “He was pretty good,” he said in a special interview with Michael Strahan on ABC’s ‘Halfway There.’
Despite the attention of countless female fans during his days of global stardom, Bon Jovi noted that his wife Dorothea Hurley has been fundamental to their well-being and success.
“I have no doubt that this world turns thanks to her. For what she did so that the children were well, what she does so that I was well, what we do together so that everything is well. There’s no doubt about that,” Bon Jovi added.
Bon Jovi praised Hurley’s contribution to his life and career, describing how they have navigated the ups and downs together over the years. He highlighted the importance of “grow up together” in a marriage, stressing that it has been a constant in his life despite the challenges.
“He’s certainly not afraid to criticize me for something, but he’s also there when I fall. And I’m there for her when she falls. No matter where she went in my career, the ups and downs, we got there together,” she asserted.
Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley married in 1989, when the rocker was already a well-known figure in the world of music. They have four children in common.
