After it became known that Britney Spears must pay $2 million dollars to her father, James Spears, to cover the legal expenses of the trial they faced, the singer shared on her Instagram account a developer message where he expresses his dissatisfaction with the lack of justice and mentions some alleged physical harm caused to him by his family.
“I was actually right about the nerve damage in my back! Now I have to get acupuncture every day of my life! Words and overthinking make it worse! If only people knew how I had to crawl to my own door once… My family hurt me! There has been no justice and there probably never will be. “People who sat back and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months have a great time!” revealed the daughter of James and Lynne Spears.
“The way I was always raised was to teach me the formation of right and wrong, but the two people who raised me with that method! They hurt me! I’m so lucky to be here! It’s funny because to this day I haven’t told them face to face! he added.
“I sent a message through Instagram, but I honestly think it wouldn’t be as safe if I ever did it face to face, so… The little girl in me knows they would be destroyed and that’s basically it.”
Spears also regretted not being able to visit her home in Louisiana, because she claims that her relatives “took everything.”
“I miss my home in Louisiana and I wish I could visit it, but they took everything!” he concluded.
On November 12, 2021, the legal dispute that the 42-year-old singer had with her father over the guardianship to which the singer was subject for 13 years and from which she was released ended.
However, on Friday it was reported that Spears will have to pay her father, Jamie, the legal costs of the lawsuit he won for her conservatorship, according to TMZ.
The “Work Bitch” singer did not expect that she would be the one who had to pay her father, something that caused her fury, since her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, had assured her that I had a solid case and I had the upper hand. The “Princess of Pop” paid close to $4 million dollars for her services.
