“The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to feel safe now, but this is just the beginning. Domestic violence is the problem. It broke me into someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, today I am better, but I will always be recovering from my past“.
“Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only request is that everyone open their hearts to believe in the victims the first time. It takes a lot of courage to tell the truth in a situation where you have no power. I offer my hand to those who still live in fear. Get close to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone,” said Cassie, an American singer, model, dancer and actress.
Ben Brafman, Combs’ attorney, commented that settling the lawsuit does not imply any admission of guilt on the part of the performer.
“Diddy” also apologized for his actions shown on surveillance video last Sunday.
Meredith Firetog, Ventura’s attorney, criticized Combs’ response, pointing out a lack of acceptance of responsibility, especially given that he initially denied the allegations when many women filed assault claims against the rapper.
Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie had an on-again, off-again relationship between 2007 and 2018. Ventura filed a lawsuit that was settled one day after it began in November 2023. where she alleged that Combs had sexually abused her in 2018 and subjected her to years of physical and emotional abuse; Combs has denied all allegations.

In addition to the Ventura lawsuit, Combs has been implicated in seven demands civilians in recent months. Six of these lawsuits, including one filed Tuesday, accuse Combs of sexual assault.
