Cristian “Chicote” Calderón surprised more than one this Monday by acknowledging that he has been a lifelong fan of the Águilas del Américawith which he began to warm up what will be the matches that the azulcrema team will hold against Chivas de Guadalajara during this month of March.

Trained at Atlas, Cristian Calderón established himself in Mexican soccer with Chivas de Guadalajara for more than five seasons. The full-back had shown his affection for the club on several occasions, one of them kissing the team’s shield after scoring against América in a 2022 matchso his recent statements did not go down well with the fans of the Sacred Flock.
