The goalkeeper of the Rayados de Monterrey, the Argentine Esteban Andradadid not want to fan the flame of controversy in the whole matter that was generated by the unsportsmanlike attitude against him on the part of his colleague and compatriot Nahuel Guzmán, who last Saturday during the northern classic between Rayados and Tigres used a laser light with the intention of distracting him and only said he was surprised and that he expects a personal apology.
“I was surprised by his attitude, we are professional colleagues, The truth is that if you like to provoke, take advantage of it and don’t continue to provoke afterwards, because the truth is that they told me that it was him and it’s true, I had a reaction after the game, but that’s all it was, these are things that happen on the field and nothing further. “What happens there stays on the field,” Andrada said.
As you may remember, Andrada made a publication on the Instagram social network account with the image of Nahuel Guzmán in a suite at the stadium using the device that projected the light that sought to distract him at game time and where he accompanied the publication with some high-sounding terms like “Pu..Cag..”, the same one that erased moments later, once the anger at his compatriot’s attitude had passed.
Faced with this, Andrada did not want to delve into the details of the controversy or the personality of Nahuel Guzmán, which is why he also avoided referring to the possible punishment that he will receive from the authorities of the Mexican Football Federation for having violated the code of ethics that governs Liga MX affiliates.
Esteban Andrada, for now, expects a personal apology from Nahuel Guzmán, However, the Tigres goalkeeper already did so via WhatsApp message, which is why he did not want to refer to the sanction that awaits his compatriot for his unsportsmanlike foul during the game between Rayados and Tigres of the UANL.
“I don’t know, I’m not the one who decides that, the one who judges, so nothing, that’s in the hands of the Liga MX, who owns it, after the game I had that reaction because of what happened, but then it was there. I don’t know, I don’t get involved in those things, let the League decide what is best. He sent me a message, but nothing, I hope he asks me personally and I will surely accept it.”
It should be noted that Esteban Andrada’s wife also got involved in this controversy, also with high-sounding words against Nahuel Guzmán, generated by the unsportsmanlike attitude of her professional colleague and especially from one compatriot to another, finally clarifying that the publications of his wife’s personal account were made by her and that it was a lie that they had been deleted, but simply that the social network itself decided to delete them, which is why he pointed out that “not going back or gaining momentum”, giving more emphasis to the discomfort that It represented the behavior of Nahuel Guzmán in Esteban Andrada’s environment.
