Galilea Montijo was one of the hosts of ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’ and recently spoke about what happened to Christopher Uckermann and Christian Chávez (members of RBD) after not being able to enter the ceremony last Thursday, where they were also nominated and won.
“(Are) great guys, in fact, they won. It wasn’t a matter of the production of the awards, I think it was a matter of the RP, that is, what I’m going for is that the tickets they brought were not the proper tickets they were nominated for. It seems that the table they had was on the other side, and you already know that when you arrive they have other instructions, which is the people who are seating you,” he began by saying on the television program ‘Hoy’.
Montijo took the opportunity to highlight a similar situation that occurred with the actor Eugenio Derbez, and in his case it was that no one gave him his ticket and they did not give him access to the facilities where the awards ceremony would be held.
“They remember that Eugenio Derbez arrived and someone did not give him his ticket, nor did they let him pass. They weren’t going to let me in and I said: ‘Miss, I have to change because right now we are going to (start the recording)’, well yes, but if you don’t have your badge you can’t get in and until the person arrived indicated, which is the one that takes you through all the labyrinths, they didn’t let me enter. But who am I? The RBD were nominated,” added the television presenter.
Lili Estefan and Raúl de Molina apologize
In recent days, presenter Lili Estefan took a few seconds on ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’ to talk about what happened to the singers: “It is very important for our network to treat our guests with respect and make them feel at home. I hope this doesn’t happen again.”
Raúl de Molina also commented on the unfortunate event and said: “We are taking the necessary measures so that this does not happen again. Our mission is to honor and applaud the work of great Latin artists in music.”
