In recent years lhe Liga MX clubs have taken on the task of bringing back old acquaintances from Aztec soccer. Players trained on the fields of Mexican football and who have returned after successful careers in Europe. The next target would be Hirving Lozano.
Diego Lainez, Jesús Corona, Erik Gutiérrez, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández and Andrés Guardado are some of the examples. These players had great internships in Europe and They have returned to the league where they were born.
Hirving Lozano could be in this same plan. The PSV Eindhoven footballer is still young, he is 28 years old, but from Liga MX they have him as a potential signing for next season.
Two Mexican clubs want “Chucky” in their project
According to information released by W SportsHirving Lozano would be on the radar of a couple of Liga MX clubs. The first of them would be the Chivas de Guadalajara.
The Sacred Flock obtained important signings such as those of Javier Hernandez and Cade Cowell. Furthermore, the leadership of this club would also be on the trail of Orbelín Pineda, another player who plays in the Old Continent.
The information indicates that the first option for the leadership was Carlos Vela. However, given the complications regarding the uncertain future of the “Bomber”, Lozano would be the second plan.
The other club that would be behind “Chucky” are the UANL Tigers. The feline team would like to renew its squad; first by reducing the average age of the first team and reinforcing with Mexican players. In both cases, Hirving Lozano meets the requirements.
Money would not be an obstacle in the path of the feline group, but the Sacred Flock would have more problems under this point. Hirving Lozano is valued at just over $19 million dollars and has a current contract with the Dutch team until June 2028.
