After much speculation and waiting, the first official look of the actor has finally been revealed. David Corenswet with the new “Man of Steel” suit for the new movie superman.

The filmmaker James Gunndirector of the film, which was previously called ‘Superman: Legacy’, was in charge of sharing the image, which has already gone viral, on the social network Threads. DC later did the same in X.

Something that caught the attention of users is that the hero shows off his worn, or apparently burned, shield. This shows that far from having his pristine suit, here Superman could head for a second assault against the enemy in question.

Superman, which will hit theaters around the world on July 11, 2025, It will be the first time fans see the hero played by Corenswet, who became famous thanks to series like ‘Hollywood’ and ‘The Politician’. However, this interpretation of the superhero is expected to take him to the stratosphere of the Mecca of Cinema.

David, 30, who also appeared in the cult horror film ‘Pearl’, will share the screen with Rachel Brosnahanwho will play Lois Lane.
