Liga MX would be in charge of challenging Lionel Messi’s MLS in the 2024 All Star Game – La Opinion

The information also indicates the possible location of this event. The match would be scheduled to take place on July 24. The stage that would host this event would be Historic Crew Stadium, located in the city of Columbus, in the US state of Ohio.

Liga MX vs. MLS

This would be the third consecutive time that the MLS star team would face the Liga MX team. In the two previous presentations the American team has won.

In 2021 these two teams faced each other at the Banc of California Stadium. The result was 1-1 with goals from Jonathan Javier Rodríguez for the Aztec team and Jesús Murillo for the MLS representation. In the penalty shootout the American team won 3-2.

In 2022 these two teams faced each other again, but in the Allianz Field. On this occasion, the American team defeated the Mexican team with goals from Carlos Vela and Raúl Ruidiaz. Kevin Álvarez made up the result with a goal in the 84th minute.
