The Ecuadorian team faces an international scandal after being defeated with a score of 2 goals to 0 against Italy, in a friendly that was part of the tour that the South American team was making through the United States, in preparation for what will be the 2024 edition of the Copa América, which will be taking place carried out on American soil.
