The legal team of Sophie Turner requested to reactivate her divorce trial with Joe Jonasarguing that the agreement they had reached in October came to an end.
According to information from People magazine, the documents filed in Miami-Deade County say that the actress requested that the process continue, indicating “that the reduction has come to an end and this case will be reactivated“.
A representative shared with the publication that this is “a legal formality and the couple continues to negotiate an amicable resolution” to finalize the divorce.
In September 2023, Joe Jonas filed for divorce, citing that “the marriage between the parties was irretrievably broken“, with a subsequent divorce request by the “Game Of Thrones” star.
The former couple had reached a provisional custody agreement that established that little Willa (4 years old) and Delphine (2) would be living separately with their parents. the same amount of timeeach from their homes in the United States and the United Kingdom, however, this agreement expired last January.
The Entertainment Tonight portal detailed that the main reason for the separation between Turner and Jonas was due to conflicts related to the location where they would officially reside, since the singer wanted to stay in the United States and the actress was interested in settling in England.
