The actor Tyrese Gibson He is in the middle of a controversy after this week he was sued by his ex-wife, Norma Mitchellfor alleged defamation and for publicly revealing private information about her and her daughter.
According to the TMZ portal, the actor, famous for playing Roman Pearce in the Fast & Furious action film saga, could be summoned by a Los Angeles County Superior Court
Mitchell alleges that Gibson revealed through his Instagram account sensitive information about her and her 16-year-old daughter Shayla.
For his part, the actor filed a motion a few days ago in Los Angeles family court related to a dispute with his ex-wife.
“Allegedly because Mitchell cannot afford to contribute as much as she can toward her daughter’s private high school tuition,” reads the lawsuit, obtained by People.
Given this, Gibson decided to use Instagram to air details of his problems with Mitchell.
“He used the social media platform to publicly litigate the issue by attacking Mitchell with a vicious tirade of derogatory and defamatory posts, including false accusations that he had committed blackmail, extortion, death threats, tax evasion, forgery, bank and wire fraud and money laundering“Mitchell’s lawsuit explains.
Norma’s request is that Gibson immediately delete publications that refer to her personal situation, in addition to requesting that a jury be dedicated to resolving different points of her case.
“Gibson’s followers continue to respond and post vile comments about Mitchell. She fears what Gibson or one of her fans might do next. She is mortified,” the lawsuit notes.
