David Martínez is only 18 years old and is one of the jewels of LAFC. This Saturday he scored a great goal, although he could not prevent the Los Angeles team from losing 3-2 to the Colorado Rapids.

David Martínez entered in the 63rd minute for Cristian Olivera. The Venezuelan made a great individual play and with a left-footed shot he scored his first goal in the MLS at just 18 years old.
The 18-year-old Venezuelan received a pass from Atuesta on the right wing and cut inside to his left before splitting a pair of defenders and placing a shot just inside the far post.
Martínez had bad news just two minutes later. The young man ended up with a double yellow card and had to be sent off, leaving LAFC with 10 players on the field.
The Rapids took advantage of that with Mihailovic scoring from close range to give his team the victory.
Djorje Mihailovic scored a double and gave Colorado the victory and a new defeat for LAFC.
The LA club has 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses this season, ranked 9th in the Western Conference after six games in the 2024 season.
Inter Miami loses again without Lionel Messi
