A video began to circulate on social networks that has caused outrage, after a subject touched inappropriately to one women, during a tumult that arose in a campaign event.

The above occurred at an event by the Citizen Movement presidential candidate, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, at the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) Xochimilco campus.

According to the recording, between shouts of Máynez out, Máynez out! and others from Máynez, president! Máynez, Máynez!, the Emecista candidate came down from a platform and then passed between the people.

Given the tumult, several people made a fence for Álvarez Máynez to pass through the crowd.

Later, a man in a blue shirt and glasses took advantage of the disorder and crowding to touch the chest of a woman who was on the fence.

According to users on social networks, they commented that the subject they accuse of inappropriately touching the woman is identified as “Phoebe” and that he would belong to the candidate’s campaign team.

However, Máynez himself assured that the subject does not belong to his campaign team, but the woman does. He further stated that the person will be reported.

“The one who is in my campaign is the girl who was attacked. I don’t know that man. He will be denounced,” said the presidential candidate.

For her part, Laura Ballesteros Mancilla, Álvarez Máynez’s campaign coordinator, declared that the subject does not work with them and that apparently he is UAM staff.

“I already told. That person does not work with us, it seems that he is UAM staff. All my sisterhood with Caro, our candidate and member of our team. “He is counting on me,” she mentioned.
