And it is that the Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has sanctioned Getafe with the partial closure of its stadium for three games and a fine of 27,000 euros, equivalent to $29,500 dollarsfor the racist insults of their fans on the last day of the League against Sevilla.

In this match, the anti-racism protocol was applied in the 68th minute, after the insults were uttered towards the Argentine player from Sevilla Marcos Acuña, who was called “monkey” from the standsand subsequently to the coach of the Andalusian team Quique Sánchez Flores, who was called a “gypsy.”

As confirmed by the RFEF, the sanction is imposed in application of article 51.7 of the RFEF Disciplinary Code for the commission of very serious infractions classified in articles 69.1.c), 69.2.d) and 76.2, sections b) and d).

The Committee’s resolution indicates that Getafe must identify before 4:00 p.m. this Wednesday the structure of the field’s stands to determine the area to close which, according to the arbitration report, would affect the sector located in the central area of ​​the field behind the position of assistant referee number 2.

At the end of it, Quique Sánchez Flores, who was coach of Getafe, revealed in the press conference that a sector of the Coliseum stands called him “gypsy” as a racist and derogatory insult and said that the performance of those fans was “aberrant.” ”.
