Guillermo Ochoa is one of the great references of the Mexican team. At 38 years old, “Memo” remains a regular option in El Tri’s arc. Although several analysts ask that Ochoa step aside, Yosgart Gutiérrez trusts in the capabilities of the Salernitana goalkeeper.

“I am one of the people who supports Memo Ochoa, I think he still has a lot to give to the national team and for giving it to the goalkeepers who are behind: Malagón, Julio., Acevedo… I think that, in that sense, we don’t have to worry“Gutierrez said.
Luis Ángel Malagón could be the future of El Tri
Previously, Carlos Acevedo was the main candidate to take over from Guillermo Ochoa. Today, Luis Ángel Malagón is the goalkeeper who has a great present to think about having some opportunities with the Mexican team.
Yosgart Gutiérrez is aware of the good experiences that Malagón has acquired in the Águilas del América arch. Despite the level shown by the Aztec, Gutiérrez still believes that he still needs to sit at the same table as Guillermo Ochoa.

During that number of commitments the Aztec He has conceded 28 goals and has kept a clean sheet 20 times.
