“I always regret it, it is a problem that we have to combat, their racism (the Chivas fans against Quiñones), we must be forceful in the message for the people. We are all equal, we are here to live together as a group. It is important not to let these things go overlooked”highlighted the technical director of the azulcrema team.

The Brazilian strategist also pointed out that he did not seek to provoke the local fans at the Akron stadium during the celebration of América’s second goal scored by Diego Valdés. “I have a way of celebrating players who score a goal or provide an assist, there was a great goal, I looked for it, the celebration was with Diego”pointed out the DT.

“I would never do anything to incite, there was no reason, those from Chivas were respectful to us, we did not feel intimidated but the taking of images does not help much and it seems that I am doing something. It’s not my way of doing things, I have a lot of respect for Chivas and the coaching staff that is there.”continued the South American coach.
