In recent years, Ashton Kutcher has not had a good time due to health problems, he has repeatedly said that he has been able to get ahead because of the support his wife Mila Kunis has had for him.
In 2019, Kunis was essential to the former teen movie star being alive. According to Ashton, his doctor said that his wife was key to his recovery.
In August, the actor revealed his health problems during an episode of National Geographic’s ‘Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge’, he suffered from a rare form of vasculitis, an autoimmune disease.
According to doctors, these types of diseases occur when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own blood vesselscausing inflammation and narrowing of the vessels.
The role that Kunis has played in his recovery, as well as the moments of adversity that he has experienced due to this disease, were shared by the interpreter, 44, in an episode of ‘The Checkup with Dr. David Agus’ on Paramount Plus.
Three years ago, Ashton Kutcher woke up and suddenly couldn’t see or hear clearly. On the broadcast, Kutcher did not hesitate to describe his experience as “terrifying and life-threatening.” He confessed that on one occasion he woke up and “I had vision problems, I could barely see”as well as lost his hearing.
Despite the physical deterioration he has experienced, the actor noted that little by little he has made “impressive” progress in both his vision and hearing, praised Agus, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The doctor did not hesitate to say that the progress he has had has a first and last name, referring to his wife, who never abandoned him. For this reason, David Agus indicated: “I will say that your wife was incredible. She was simply by your side. It was a beautiful thing to see.”
On the difficulties he faced from losing some of his essential senses, Ashton said that “there is a standard you get used to in your lifesuch as being able to see clearly.”
“All of a sudden, you can’t see, like you have this occlusion and you can’t see. And then you say: Why don’t you speak up, because I can’t hear you? Do you want to regain the health you once had?”
The drive to return to better health led Ashton to set up running the New York City Marathon, a feat he accomplished in November, raising more than $1 million for his Thorn Foundation, which protects children from sexual abuse.
