After 8 months of being in prison for an alleged participation in a shooting in Santa Clara, California, Cain Velásquez returned to a ring, although now it was a ring and he did it in a Mexican wrestling event that took place at the university where study.
The former mixed martial arts champion fought this Saturday at a function organized by the AAA at the Mullet Arena, on the campus of Arizona State University, where He starred in the stellar duel in a third party fight, where he won the victory together with the son of the Blue Legend and Pagano, over Taurus, Sam Adonis and Gringo Loco.
“Thank you. Being here in front of you right now is a dream come true. I really appreciate everything you guys have always done supporting me, my family. Thank you guys forever. Always. My heart is happy to be here with you. I will always keep fighting, forever. Keep getting better. Always ”, Velásquez commented before beginning the performance, in a speech by way of thanks to all the people who supported him in recent months in what must have been one of the most difficult stages of his life.
After this victory in the ring It is unknown if the fighter will join the AAA cast, if he will give more wrestling performances or if he will return to the Octagon in mixed martial arts.
What is a fact is that, outside of sports, according to the United States press, Cain Velásquez will return to court on December 28 to declare again.
