In the last three days, at least 21,000 encounters with migrants have been recorded at the United States border, according to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
CBP sources told Fox News that more than 7,000 migrant encounters were recorded on Sunday alone, while Friday and Saturday the numbers were similar.
Leading the meetings from Friday to Sunday was the Tucson sector in Arizona with more than 5,400, while the San Diego sector in California was the second busiest with more than 3,600, according to the media’s sources.
