According to information from Halftime, Raúl Jiménez will be left out of the call for the Mexican team. “Jimmy” would like to see a young forward to accompany Henry Martín and Santiago Giménez in the attack.
The decision on Jiménez is also argued by his performances with Fulham. The Mexican attacker has lost space in the English team and it does not have an optimal rhythm to be an immovable piece within the call.
During this season, Raúl Jiménez has played 28 games with the club. In that number of games the Aztec has scored 5 goals. But throughout the season, the former Águilas del América attacker has only played for 1,539 minutes (the equivalent of 17 complete games).

The veteran Fulham scorer would not be the only renowned player who would be left out of Jaime Lozano’s list. The same source indicates that in El Tri’s list the absences of Guillermo Ochoa, Jesus Gallardo and even his own Hirving Lozanoalthough the latter remains a doubt.
