Joe Joe is the son of Maripily Rivera and recently offered an interview on Telemundo Puerto Rico’s morning show, where he took the opportunity not only to defend his mother, but also to explain his position after Ariadna Gutiérrez mentioned him in ‘The House of the Famous‘.
“You should not go to the family side or the personal side, that is already something very delicate. Obviously, we fans can’t take it personally either, this at the end of the day is a reality show and you have to play the game, but not involve your family or anything personal. “My mom has done more than a good job with me,” she said during the conversation.
Rivera’s personality is extroverted and her strong character has generated conflicts and controversies, but they have also made the public unable to take their eyes off her. Her authenticity and her determination to see it through to the end have made her a favorite of many viewers, who support her bravery and her direct way of dealing with situations.
“I have seen moments where I say wow, my mother has treated many of those people like her family, she has given them advice. Obviously, Everyone has their disagreements, but in truth my mother has been very fair and she has treated everyone very well with a lot of respect and obviously they have not been very fair to her at times,” he added.
Despite the criticism and challenges she has had to face, Maripily has shown that she is not afraid of anything or anyone, and that she is willing to fight for what she wants. His presence on the program has been a roller coaster of emotions, but she has made it clear that she is not going to give up easily and that she is willing to give everything to achieve victory.
“Many people thought like wow and that decision she made seemed like she was betraying, but in truth you were able to see several clips that already came from before, they were planning. When you see a very strong participant, the strongest one has to be knocked down. and if you knock it down faster even better; but she is still there firm,” said Joe Joe.
