You have just booted the network folder from the Met Gala 2024 which this year has Jennifer López as its “host.” This year’s theme is “Sleeping Beauties: The awakening of fashion“. Its title in English “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” is the theme of the upcoming exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The singer surprised everyone by arriving in a mermaid dress by Schiaparelli Haute Couture. However, many fans of the 54-year-old singer have pointed out that this time her look for the event was not what they expected, especially because even though she looks impressive, her apparent new thinness makes her age more evident.
The comments about her physical appearance caught our attention thanks to the video that the host of Despierta América, Jomari Goyso, shared from his Instagram account, where the public has reacted with comments such as: “She is thinner”, “Super thin. Ben has her talking to herself and she is very naked, I’ll say my opinion”, “The spectacular dress. Too thin and her face very worn, for the first time I see how old she is.”
Many claim that this thinness has suddenly made the singer and actress’ 54 years more noticeable now.
In recent years, JLo became the celebrity owner of the elixir of eternal youth. In the years 2027-2018 she was the queen of “sports leggings”. JLo’s beauty and her attitude towards aging has always been admired, envied and respected. For this reason, even though many say that her years are now noticeable, there are many who applaud the fact that she continues to be true to herself.
Now, the criticisms point to the makeup and hairstyle. They even claim that although her dress is sensational, her hairstyle left a lot to be desired: “I think she arrived on a motorcycle with those frizzy hairs ♥️ even so,” is one of the comments that many have let go on social networks about it.
