More than 4 since its initial release, Musou One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 continues to give a lot to talk about due to its new and unexpected downloadable characters. Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King, is coming soon to One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4!
In the vast world of One Piece, there is no pirate more famous or more important than Gol D. Roger. This is because he and his crew traveled around the world until they reached Laugh Tale and they found the legendary treasure known as the “One Piece.” When he was about to be executed by the World Government, Roger revealed that the treasure was still hidden and must be found, leading to the creation of a new generation of pirates. However, in his prime, Gol D. Roger was a powerful warrior capable of facing down the man himself. White beard. And it is that young version of the character that will now be added to Pirate Warriors 4.
Gol D. Roger did not eat a Devil Fruit, so his battle style focuses on his mastery of the 3 types of haki: Armament, Observation and the Emperor. In the trailer released by Bandai Namco, we can notice that his battle style will remain intact when we control him in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4: We can see him executing the powerful clash of Emperor’s Haki that he had with Whitebeard and even uses his most powerful technique , known as Kamusari. In the short demo video that Bandai Namco posted on Twitter we can also see Roger launching waves of Haki with his sword, similar to how he fights. Shanks in the same game.
Gol D. Roger seems to be a really powerful character who will be able to keep entire hordes of enemies in check, so he will be very satisfying to use in combat. And this makes a lot of sense, because he was one of the strongest characters in the entire series. There’s a reason he earned the title “King of the Pirates.” There is still no specific release date for Roger’s DLC, but we do know that he will be the first character in the sixth downloadable package of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, and its announcement confirms that this will have a focus on important figures from the old generation of pirates.
At the end of the trailer revealing the inclusion of Gol D. Roger, we can briefly see the silhouettes of two characters and hear them speak. Based on their designs and their voices, it is evident that these are younger versions of Silvers Rayleigh and Monkey D. Garp, when they were the same age Roger was in his prime. We already want these two iconic historical figures to be added to One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, since we wonder what their gameplay will be like. For now, we only know that they will arrive “Coming soon”.
