Rei Pelé sends a message of calm to his fans.

The health of former footballer Edson Arantes do Nascimento ‘Pelé’ continues to give people talk, this since he was hospitalized last Tuesday. Considered by many to be the best soccer player in history, he remains stable and responds well to treatment for the respiratory infection he suffers from, according to a medical bulletin released this Saturday.
“Pelé has also had a good response to respiratory infection care, not presenting any worsening in his condition in the last 24 hours“, according to the bulletin of the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital in Sao Paulo in a note published by the EFE agency.
It is important to note that 82-year-old “Oh Rei” was admitted last Tuesday in order to evaluate a change in the chemotherapy treatment that he continues against colon cancer, which was detected in September 2021.
“My friends, I want to keep everyone calm and positive thoughts. I am strong, very hopeful, and I follow my treatment as always. I want to thank the entire medical and nursing team for all the zeal I have been receiving” said the King of Soccer.
“I have a lot of faith in God and every message of love I receive from you, coming from all over the world, keeps me full of energy.. And look at Brazil in the World Cup too! ”, He finished.
The health of the greatest idol of the Brazilian National Team, Pelé, has been deteriorating in recent years also due to other causes, such as spinal, hip and knee problems, which have reduced his mobility and forced him to go through the operating room, in addition to suffering some renal crisis.
