The president of the Mexican club, Mauricio Culebro, assured in a press conference held this Friday that they have held talks with Robert Dante Siboldi to reach an agreement and extend their relationship with the team but that for now it is not the right time to talk about that topic.
“We have been talking to him for a while, right now we are focused on the league. Robert’s results support it: a championship, Champion of Champions, Campeones Cup, final, right now fighting the league, the will of both parties is there.”said the manager in statements reported by Fox Sports México.
“We always want and look for long-term projects, but until a paper is signed we cannot make it official”Mauricio Culebro continued, pointing out that at the moment they have not yet reached an agreement to extend the Uruguayan coach’s stay on the team.
Robert Dante Siboldi took over the reins of the UANL Tigres for the 2023 Clausura Tournament and won the title by beating the Chivas de Guadalajara in the final and in the following tournament he also played the final against the Águilas del América who won the Apertura 2023 title.
