Adamari López is one of the hosts of the program ‘Desiguales’, a space where she also shares with Dr. Nancy Álvarez and last Monday they did not agree with the opinions on the topic they were talking about and it was about infidelity.
The issue arose from a study that revealed that More than 50% of people in a relationship have been unfaithful at some point in their lives. Opinions on the panel were divided: while some argued that this is an unforgivable betrayal that breaks trust during the bond, others pointed out that on some occasions it can be understood as a human error and that it is possible to overcome it with work on the relationship.
“I think that once you lose the trust of a friend or a partner it is irrevocable.“That doesn’t come back,” the Puerto Rican began.
Dr. Nancy was the first to intervene, pointing out that infidelity is a personal decision and that it cannot be justified under any argument. She, in turn, mentioned that one of the steps in a situation like this is to excuse what happened, but it should not be normalized either.
“You have to forgive, but you don’t have to stay and you don’t have to trust again.“Adamari responded.
Álvarez continued talking about that topic that undoubtedly generated a debate and added that “There are women who never do chacachaca with their husband and men do not play with that v*ina“.
Toni Costa’s ex-partner showed her complete disagreement and stated: “There is no chacachaca, then The husband has to be honest enough and tell me I’m leaving because there’s no chacachaca instead of cheating on me because it’s very easy to cheat, but it is not easy to speak truthfully in front of the person. I’m not going with that. There is no trust and I won’t go back there.”
