Cristiano Ronaldo remains Saudi Arabia’s leading scorer with a hat-trick against Al Taee in the 5-1 win over Al Nassr.

The CR7 team sits in second place in the Saudi Arabia League, although still far from the leader, Al Hilal, who beat Al Sabab (3-4) and brings the number of consecutive victories to thirty.

The Portuguese, who scored three, has accumulated twenty-six goals in twenty-five days. Four more than his pursuer, Al Hilal’s Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic, who signed two in this session.

Al Nassr, with Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles, Sadio Mane and David Ospina in their starting eleven but without the Spanish Aymeric Laporte, beat Al Taee, who played outnumbered from the 36th minute due to the expulsion of Virgil Misidjan.

Before the break, in first-half added time, Abdulrahman Ghareed, with a pass from Sadio Mane, put Al Nassr ahead. Then came Cristiano Ronaldo’s exhibition.

In the 65th minute, the Portuguese star hit the net, with the first touch, a cross from Mane from the right and in the 67th minute he took advantage of a rebound to score the fourth, his second. The match closed with a new goal from Cristiano, header, after a center from Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem.

Al Nassr is twelve points behind Al Hilal, which achieved its thirtieth consecutive victory at Ivan Rakitic’s Al Shabab (3-4).

The leader, with players in his eleven such as Bono, Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milinkovic Savic, Ruben Neves, Malcom and Aleksandar Mitrovic, sentenced in one hour.

They had to come back because Musab Al Juwayr, after three minutes, put the hosts ahead. Mitrovic turned the situation around with his goals, in the 18th, from a penalty, and in the 27th, and on the brink of half-time Sergej Milinkovic Savic made it 1-3.

Salem Al Dawsari signed the fourth for Jorge Jesus, who relaxed from that moment on.

Al Shabab took the opportunity to make up the score with goals from Hussain Khaled Ali Al Sibyani and Romain Saiss.
