Just a few days before the release of her album ‘Radical Optimism’, the singer Dua Lipa was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world thanks to his achievements in the music, fashion and film industries.

The performer posed for the cover wearing her emblematic red hair that has accompanied her in the era corresponding to her third album, and then revealed details of what she sees in the future in her artistic career.

“Since I was very little, I have written down things that I dreamed of for myself. I have always planned ahead. Although surprises arise that I evaluate at the moment, there is always a long term goal“, said.

The singer recalled that the creative process of ‘Radical Optimism’ was born from her first album, which is why she considers it crazy to see this 2024 as a fact.

“I remember when I was working on my first album, I was taking notes on what was going to be my third album. It’s crazy to think about it, but I remember talking to a close friend and A&R Joe, ‘maybe on the third album, I could work with Kevin Parker (from Tame Impala),’ and he said, ‘Alright, hold firm, let’s take baby steps.'”

Regarding what awaits her fans with this musical proposal, Lipa revealed that “the album as a whole is more mature.”

“I’m definitely not the same person I was when I wrote my first album. I have evolved and learned a lot by taking it as it comes, without seeing anything as bad or as a setback. That involves a lot of growing and understanding myself, knowing my value, whether in business, love or friendship. I’m just a different person, so of course this album will be different”.

“I have different thoughts, desires, needs and perspectives. I have made a 180 degree turn… I feel more confident at this moment in my life,” she confessed.

At the same time that she thinks about music, the “Dance Again” singer was questioned about her film roles, after appearing in projects such as “Barbie,” by Greta Gerwig, and the film “Argylle,” alongside Henry Cavill. .

“I love the idea of playing a different character and having a task. I also love when I go to a photo shoot and I can completely change my look. It gives me a different personality,” she shared.
