Former Dominican major league player Sammy Sosa was one of the most renowned and most popular players in the 2000s. in Major League Baseball, who was remembered for his best years as a member of the Chicago Cubs organization and his friendly war to be number one in the career of most home runs in a season he had with the former Cardinals player of St. Louis, Mark McGwire.

Although in the interview it was not specified what the error that Sosa recognized had been, the journalist’s next question was whether said aforementioned error was connected to the use of prohibited substances (steroids) during his career as an active baseball player, something that for Sammy Sosa was not pleasant at all and the Dominican avoided the answer for the journalist by claiming, “it is not a question that I expected from you,” said the former big leaguer.

“This was not an interview in which I was going to sit down with you so that a note comes out now but as I said I am a mature man, I feel great and let’s see what happens,” Sosa concluded in this small meeting with journalists and then left without answering any more questions.

Sosa’s alleged use of banned substances is an issue on the table of judgments, opinions and others for years and the mystery remains more alive than ever since this issue was never 100% confirmed.
