Do you frequent the bathroom at work? Tiktoker tells if it is a reason to get fired

A Tiktoker who quickly went viral on the well-known video platform responded to a question that her followers frequently asked her and that is that Internet users wanted to know how many times they can go to the bathroom at work without being at risk of being fired.

The content creator, Lucy Her or better known as Princesa Godín, did not take long to respond to the calls of her audience and published a video about it.

In the first part of her response, the woman published that “last week in Mexico a law had been approved” that explained that going to the bathroom more than three times during the work day was a reason for dismissal.

It also specified that if the worker took more than 10 minutes in each of these recurring trips to the bathroom, the employer had the right to fire him.

Seconds later, the same TikToker denies the first information she gave regarding this “new law” and ironically questions her audience about whether they could really believe that going to the bathroom in the 21st century would be a reason to fire someone.

After saying that perhaps these practices would be valid in the “Middle Ages,” he assured that something like that is not happening in Mexico and perhaps it is fake news.

According to the Federal Labor Law, there is no such penalty for going to the bathroom more than three times or taking more than 10 minutes there, however, if you are one of those who are absent a lot or arrive late and that counts as an absence, yes could be grounds for dismissal.
