And on Saturday, March 2, the day on which the sporting commitment is agreed, there is also a concert by Alejandro Fernández in Plaza México, a building next to the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium, better known as the “Azul”, which It has been the home of the Machine in the Clausura 2024.
“This is due to the coincidence between the match and Alejandro Fernández’s concert that will take place in the Plaza de Toros on the same date and time, which makes the road and safety device unviable both for the number of attendees expected and for the entrance and exit roads that both venues share,” the statement added.
With this move, Cruz Azul will return to the Azteca Stadium to play a home match there, something it did from 2018 to 2023.
