Both soccer players could be seen among the celebrities who stopped by the Miami International Raceway where Lando Norris took the victory in the race and the duo of players from the azulcrema team enjoyed all the spectacle surrounding Formula 1.
However, they were not exempt from receiving harsh criticism on social networks where some fans questioned them due to the moment that the Águilas del América are experiencing after their defeat last week at the hands of Pachuca in the semifinals of the Concachampions.
“And one believes that before the league the players were focused on their clubs or at least taking care of themselves. What one comes to find out as an adult”wrote a follower to criticize the América players who will face each other again this Thursday against Pachuca, now in the MX League.
On this occasion, the confrontation between the azulcrema and the Tuzos corresponds to the first leg of the quarterfinals of the 2024 Clausura Tournament in which those led by Brazilian coach André Jardine are seeking the two-time championship after the success achieved in the last 2023 Apertura Tournament .

The pair of players from the Águilas del América took advantage of the opportunity to not only have their photo taken with the Mexican Sergio “Checo” Pérez during the Miami Grand Prix but they also gave the Red Bull driver a shirt from the cream-blue team of which the man from Guadalajara is fanatic.
Although born in Guadalajara, “Checo” Pérez is a recognized América fan to the point that he was present at the team’s coronation in the last 2023 Apertura Tournament at the Azteca Stadium, celebrating with the players after the victory against the Tigres de la UANL.
