Manchester United suffered against Coventry City, from the second division, but qualified for the FA Cup final on penalties.
The Red Devils had control for much of the match with a 3-0, but in the final minutes, Coventry City scored three goals in 10 minutes that put United in trouble.
With this victorythe FA Cup will have a derby with the duel between Manchester City and Manchester United.
City defeated Chelsea 1-0 this Saturday at Wembley with a goal from Bernardo Silva in the final minutes.
The Manchester United players did not celebrate much after conceding a three-goal tie. Now they will face their great rival in the city.
Penalties gave victory to Manchester United
The game in overtime was for both teams. United hit the post after a great shot for Bruno Fernandes and Coventry had a goal disallowed for offside.
Casemiro began by failing in the center, with a shot similar to Bernardo Silva against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
For its part, Coventry missed the third penalty with a save by André Onana. With this result they were 2-2.
The decisive penalty went to Hollund, after a mistake by Coventry, and thus gave United the long-suffering qualification.
Manchester United went from tranquility to anguish
Manchester United came into the match against Coventry City as clear favorites. They got goals from Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire in the first half and went away 2-0.
Bruno Fernandes scored 3-0 and seemed on track. But Coventry did not decide to give up.
Ellis Simms scored in the 71st minute after a good right-footed finish to beat Onana.
Callum O’Hare scored again and put Coventry City within a goal, which with its thousands of fans began to believe in the dream of the impossible.
And in the 90th minute, Wan Bissaka committed a penalty after a clear handball in the area and the opportunity came for Haji Wright.
With fans behind the goal, Wright tied the game 3-3 for Coventry City and they went to extra time.
