Since 2022, the singer had shared unfortunate news about her family and that is that her sister Vilma Chacón, was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, since previously it had been detected in the stomach and now it was in the breast, which was a hard blow for her.
And Vilma helped Maribel for a long time to take care of Julián when he was younger and she had to work or go on a trip, so she played a very important role in her life as a second mother and this made them quite all three close.
Likewise, for Guardia, Vilma was also like her mother because she also took care of her from a very young age because they have almost 20 years of age difference and after the death of her mother in 1968, that is how they played the roles, so it is common for I called her “mom” and now she believes that Julián performed a miracle for her.
And fortunately, ‘Mima’, as they also affectionately call her, was able to get rid of cancer for the second time and Joan Sebastian’s ex-wife believes that it was her late son who did this to her. miracle for all the love and affection they had in life and for having taken care of them both.
