Some people who are wanted for crimes committed in the United States decide to cross the Mexican border to hide from the authorities of their country, however, many of them end up behind bars sooner or later.
This happened with a US citizen identified as Anthony David45 years old, who was wanted by the FBI for two cases of sexual abuse against minors.
The subject was detected and detained in the city of Cadereyta, located in the state of Nuevo León, although his arrest was not precisely motivated by the crimes committed in the past.
According to a press release from the Nuevo León Attorney General’s Office, officials from the State Investigation Agency Anthony David was caught urinating in public.
When they stopped him and subjected him to a search, they found a wrapper with marijuana. They later consulted on his immigration status and it was there that his identity was revealed.
David was one of the most wanted men by the FBIaccused of having drugged and sexually abused two minors in the state of Michigan.
Because the detainee did not have a legal stay in Mexico, he was handed over to the National Immigration Institute and will be extradited so that he can be tried by the US authorities.
