Rodner Figueroa has always had important roles on television. In turn, the Venezuelan Viviana Gibelli interviewed him and he began talking about his departure from Univision: “For me it was a relief when they told me ‘you don’t have to come anymore’ because I understood that I no longer had to continue being something that no longer made me feel good.”

The television host accepted that “there were factors that contributed to the boiling of that character,” although he highlighted that “everything I said, everything I acted and how I behaved. I don’t want to victimize myself, I don’t want it to be misunderstood at any time, I built my career based on a resource that worked for me to become that Rodner Figueroa of that momentthen I am very responsible for everything I said.”

I see it in certain colleagues of mine today and I swear to you, I pray to God, I hope they realize it before they fall into the trap.. And when I say trap I do not mean or imply that they are going to set a trap, it is that the trap is going to be your own language because you feel in the capacity because you are in front of a television camera to be the judge and the executioner and deep down you do not have the slightest right to have an opinion on the life of another human being because you are completely unaware of everything that happens behind a person’s life,” he added during the conversation.

Rodner mentioned that some believe they can speak without contemplation about the people who make up the world of entertainment: “We consider that we have the right to point out artists because they are public figures. Nobody knows what those people experience behind the scenes when they close the door of their house.”

“It began to happen to me then that publicists requested that I be the one to interview their artists. Today, the way I issue my criteria, I do so from a level of consciousness and I ask God to be the one to allow my spirit to speak for me and not my ego for me.“He added during the conversation.

“They invited me repeatedly and I With great respect I declined to sit on that television set because I said ‘you don’t agree with that anymore, you can’t…’. Before, the ego would have told me ‘go so that you appear, so that they see you, so that they talk about you; The spirit is the one that tells you ‘that space is not for you, don’t take communion there,’” he explained.
